My thoughts are on a new design. My oldest daughter absolutely loves everything about skeleton keys. So....my gears are turning. Not sure what I'm going to knit her but, I'll get the design on paper first, then decide.
I will keep you posted.
Shhhh! Don't let the cat out of the bag....it's going to be a sweet surprise. ;-)
'Til next time...

Some Wooly Wisdom
As I get older ,I realize it's all about what makes you happy. It's not about what others think, what others say or what others recommend that you do. It's about you....what's on the inside.
I have always known in my heart and soul that I am an artist. I might not paint, or write but still, I am an artist. I love to play with yarn and kool-aid dyes...and sometimes, have the batch of pine cones steaming in the pot to see what color I can come with for my hand spun yarn. I always have at least one project on my needles, somewhere in the house. It's a creative chaos. And, I love it!
This is my life....an introverts life of sorts. But, a happy one. I love my quiet time , engrossed in my art while the time ticks away unbeknownst to me. You see, I create. That's just what I do and who I am.

Ramblings

Can you believe it's February already? And I haven't written a darn thing since November....what's up with that?
Well, the holidays are over(Yay)and life is slowly getting back to normal. Working long hours put a damper on my fiber time. I did get a couple neckwarmers finished along with 2 hats. A little progress is better than no progress.
After this REALLY snowy winter, we aren't too far away from spring and no storms in sight....I'm keeping my fingers crossed winter is done and over with. I'm ready for the green grass and daffodils.
Had a wonderful day today, solo. I headed out to Wayland MA for their Winter Farmer's Market and Wool Day. Great place! Loved walking through the greenhouses full of lively, green plants and lots of wool and yarn. I was good, I didn't spend a lot. But, I did end up with some scrumptious spinach/garlic bagels and a great dessert....A waffle, whipped cream and chocolate something or other. It was divine!
On the way home, I had to gallavant by the Wayside Inn and took some great pictures of The Mary Had A Little Lamb's schoolhouse that used to be in Sterling Ma, The Grist Mill in Sudbury and a quaint little church.
Well, tootles, for now. A yummy calzone is waiting for me and a wool hat that MUST be finished asap to be sent to a friend in Alaska.
;-)
